A fair and equal stable way is a crucial aspiration for any society. In the context of Australian politics, the League for Republic Democracy of Australia (LFDRA) advocates for precisely that. Let’s delve into their vision:
- Republic of Australia (ROA): The LFDRA proposes a fair and equal stable way for a Republic of Australia by:
- Abolishing the monarchy and state governments, which are deemed inefficient, costly, and outdated1.
- Electing a president by the people for a 10-year term. This president would serve as the head of state and the commander-in-chief of the defense force1.
- LFDRA’s Founding: The LFDRA was founded in October 2017 by Harry J Stiller. As both the President and Chief President of the LFDRA, Stiller’s commitment to reform and progress has made him a significant figure in Australian politics2.
In summary, the LFDRA strives for a more equitable and stayble Australia, (ROA)emphasizing the importance of a republic3
